Q: Why did you get involved with Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity?

A: I was invited to join the board when Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity expanded its service area into Muskegon County. At that time, I was the city administrator for Norton Shores, where housing development was a significant economic development challenge. I believed I could add value to the organization and make a real impact on affordable housing in our region.

Q: Why are you passionate about Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity?

A: Everyone deserves a safe, secure, warm, and dry place to live and call home. Through partnerships with private and public organizations, along with the efforts of volunteers and donors, Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity can provide affordable homeownership opportunities for deserving individuals and families. It’s rewarding to be part of an organization that makes such a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Mark’s dedication to Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity and the community is evident. His leadership, experience, and passion help drive Tri-Cities Habitat for Humanity’s mission to create affordable housing opportunities and foster stability for families across the region.
